From WikiCube

Welcome to WikiCube! This page provides you with details of a lesser known sport called Speedcubing. Speedcubing literally means solving a Rubik's Cube in the quickest time possible. Although, it doesn't necessarily mean the 3x3x3 version. It can (and does) apply to most twisty puzzles such as the 2x2x2, 4x4x4, 5x5x5 and Megaminx. The current fastest time on the 3x3x3 is 10.48 seconds, set in an official competition by Toby Mao of America. People have solved it in a faster time, but unofficially. Don't worry if you arn't this fast yet, as it takes days out of your life trying to get faster. It is easier for some than others, but everyone is able to do it.

WikiCube, however, is not exclusive to speedcubing. It contains information on all aspects of cubing, such as fewest moves, blindfold cubing and even underwater cubing! I wouldn't be surprised if some cupstacking things sneaked in, either....

Ready to give it a try? Impress your friends! Pick up girls! Pass the time! Have a look at one of the different methods or try to work it out yourself.

And don't forget to drop in the universal speedcubers IRC channel #rubik on Or use this applet

"The SpeedCuber's Insyklepaediur" was created for cubemoves by two cubers: Thom Barlow and Paul Nixon. It is designed to collect information of all aspects of cubing together in a central point. We're yet to see if this works, but if it doesn't, I'm going to blame it on Paul :)
